The endowment will be available to fund scholarships for deserving female students well into the future. The number of scholarships has increased every year, with two being awarded in 2014 and seven in 2019.

Event Chair and Advisory Board Vice Chair Linda Allen-Hawkins has announced that this year’s luncheon fundraiser will include a new programming feature. Instead of the traditional guest speaker, there will be a panel of past scholarship recipients who will discuss the impact of the Women of Vision scholarships on their lives – while attending Flagler College and after graduation.

“Every year a large percentage of our guests have commented about how much they enjoy and appreciate the comments of the scholarship recipient selected to be on the program,” said Allen-Hawkins. “So, we decided that it was time to hear from a number of previous scholarship winners and learn how their lives have changed. We think it will be a meaningful experience.”
